The translator Florian Bissig and his mentor, the poet and translator Jonis Hartmann, will talk about rendering the African American writer Phillis Wheatley’s Poems on Various Subjects (1773) into German (Nie mehr, Amerika!). At the James Joyce Foundation in Zürich, at 3:30 pm on 3 November.
