Applications for stays from January 2026 to end of June 2026 are possible from 1 September 2025.
Applications for the second half of 2026 are possible from 1 February 2026

Translators from countries bordering on Switzerland cannot apply for this grant unless they are working on contemporary Swiss literature.
Our funds are limited, so apply early to improve your chances of success. Applications for residence grants must be received at least two months before the start of your stay at Translation House Looren.

Please enclose a copy of the license agreement signed by both parties (the contract between the source text’s rights holder and the publisher of your translation) or a confirmation of the rights holder unless the work is out of copyright.
