Workshops
Translation House Looren offers a number of different further education options for professional literary translators. We carry out several day-long workshops at the house, five to six times a year. The bilingual ViceVersa Workshops are one of the focal points.
Our focus programmes Looren América Latina and Laboratorio italiano also offer workshops in the language regions themselves. We also support emerging translators.
Working with schools in the Zürcher Oberland Region, we regularly organize workshops for young people. Using tailor-made concepts developed together with professional literary translators, these range from three-hour workshops to entire project weeks. We also offer further training for teachers.
