Coming up

The online translation studio for Latin American translators has been working with Asa Hendry’s play archiv, translating parts of it from Sursilvan into Spanish and Portuguese. The piece is an urgent monologue in 14 images about family, alpine landscapes and intergenerational trauma. With its mix of poetic and narrative elements, the script opens up new perspectives on Romansh theatre-making. A final public reading on 25 October will present both the original and the translations enabled by the studio.
