Lavuratori Traversadas litteraras

As of 2023, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture is now commissioning translated extracts from books awarded a Swiss Literature Award into Romansh. Lia Rumantscha and Translation House Looren got together to seek translators – and found four individuals and collectives. Their draft translations from Leta Semadeni’s Amur, grosser Fluss, Lioba Happel’s Pommfritz aus der Hölle, Fanny Desarzens’ Galel and Prisca Agustoni’s Verso la ruggine will be discussed with the participants of Traversadas litteraras.

There will also be an input talk on collective translation and an overview of funding opportunities for literary translators from Romansh regions.
Traversadas litteraras is open to all interested writers, translators and editors.
