Writing Residencies 2026: Jan Michalski Residencies

The Fondation Jan Michalski pour l’écriture et la littérature is announcing its international writing residencies for 2026. Authors and translators of all languages and genres can apply until 27 August 2025.

Part of the residencies is dedicated to Nature Writing – literary writing that addresses ecological issues and raises awareness of nature and sustainability.

Residencies last between two weeks and three months. The foundation covers travel and accommodation costs and provides a weekly stipend of CHF 400. Applications for collaborative projects are also welcome.
