From 5 June – 5 July 2016 she will be working at Translation House Looren on her Russian translation of the children’s book Das grosse Buch vom Räuber Grapsch by Gudrun Pausewang.

Marija Zorkaja Zhdanova from Moscow translates from German into Russian. She has translated writers including Peter Stamm, Monika Maron, Katharina Hacker and Jonas Lüscher. From 4 – 18 June and from 30 September – 14 October she will be working at Translation House Looren on her Russian translations of Franz Hohler’s novel Gleis 4 and Alexander Pschera’s Das Internet der Tiere.

Oleksandra Hryhorenko from Poltawa, Ukraine, translates from German into Ukrainian. She has translated writers including Dragica Rajcić and Elfriede Jelinek. From 25 November – 18 December 2016 she will be working at Translation House Looren on her Ukrainian translation of Föhntage by Bernd Schuchter.
