Stefania Zampiga studied modern languages and literature in Bologna, has published two poetry collections and writes poems in Italian and English, previously also for international theatre and dance projects. She has translated Roger Robinson, Joy Harjo, Sujata Bahtt and Carol Ann Duffy and is involved in various projects promoting greater visibility and funding for contemporary poetry and its translation. At Translation House Looren, she will be continuing her work on the Italian version of Steve Ely’s long poem The European Eel.
