Rose Labourie (born 1987) from Paris is a full-time translator from German to French. Authors she has translated include Sibylle Berg, Mareike Krügel and Juli Zeh. From 16 July to 9 August 2018 she will be working at Translation House Looren on Chris Kraus’s 12 000 page novel Cold Blood, to be published by Belfond, probably next year. Her residency is funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung’s Elmar Tophoven Mobility Fund and the Deutscher Übersetzerfonds (‘German translation fund’).
