Marina Skalova born 1988, grew up in Germany and France, and is currently at home in Geneva. She translates mostly from German and Russian into French, especially theatre and poetry, amongst others works by Katja Brunner, Dragica Rajčić, Dorothee Elmiger, and Michael Fehr. At Translation House Looren from 31st July to 20th August, she will be working on the French translation of Thomas Köck’s play paradies fluten.

Her stay is financed by a scholarship from the Elmar-Tophoven-Mobility-Fund of the DVA Foundation and the Deutscher Übersetzerfonds.
